NALBOH represents the grassroots foundation of public health in America, and is the only organization in America dedicated to preparing and strengthening boards of health, empowering them to promote and protect the health of their communities through education, training, and technical assistance.

NALBOH has been engaged in establishing a significant voice for local boards of health on matters of national public health policy. Our satellite office in Washington, DC has allowed us to have a permanent presence with other national public health organizations while maintaining our grassroots with our main office in Bowling Green, OH.
