About NALBOH's
Environmental Health Subcommittee
NALBOH's Environmental Health Subcommittee is a subdivision of the Education & Training Committee with a focus on environmental health issues. The subcommittee's main charge is to assist in the development of NALBOH's environmental health products and services.
Future Environmental Health Subcommittee Projects Include:
- Updating NALBOH's Environmental Health Primer
- Indoor Air Quality Guide
- Guidance documents on private drinking water wells, including guidance on how to develop and implement a local well ordinance
- Soils training guide to assist board of health members in understanding the principles of soil science as it relates to wastewater treatment and disposal through on-site wastewater disposal systems
