MacNeal Scholarship

The National Association of Local Boards of Health (NALBOH) is pleased to announce a special opportunity. Through the initial generous donation of former NALBOH Project Director James John MacNeal, DO, MPH, and others since then, NALBOH is offering a minimum of one (1) MacNeal Scholarship.

Application submission for 2011 is closed.

This scholarship program is designed to assist recipients to participate in NALBOH’s Annual Conference and give the opportunity to learn more about public health governance. The recipient will have an opportunity to attend sessions on governance and leadership, board development, public health policy, and public health priorities; interact with board of health members; hear from national, state, and local public health leaders; and gain additional information useful to a role as a public health worker and a board of health member.
