Mission

The mission of this Association is to protect and preserve the public health by helping the State’s local Boards of Health in meeting their responsibilities.

Objective

To seek a rational public health consensus to guide the formulation of public policy and advocate a body of law designed to facilitate the protection and preservation of the public health; to increase the level of public health awareness among local, county and state officials and among the general public; and to promote regional cooperation on public health concerns.
