Jeffrey S. Neistadt
Director of Education and Training
Jeff Neistadt earned a BS degree in Environmental Health Science from Ohio University and a MS degree in Environmental Management through the University of Findlay. Currently, Jeff is the Director of Education and Training and was the former Project Director of Environmental Health and Emergency Preparedness with NALBOH. As the Project Director, Jeff was responsible for managing all environmental health and public health preparedness training and education programs. In his current position, Jeff is responsible for all of NALBOH’s education, training, and outreach to boards of health. Prior to his work at NALBOH, Jeff worked as an Epidemiologist and Registered Sanitarian within several local health districts. That experience allowed him to work in a variety of environmental health programs including lead poisoning prevention, private sewage & water, food safety, emergency response, recreational waters, vector control, and solid/infectious waste.
