Amy Smith

Administrative Assistant

Amy is the Administrative Assistant for the NALBOH. She grew up in northwest Ohio and worked most recently as a high school librarian while pursuing her bachelor’s degree as a non-traditional student. In December 2008, she received her degree in English, with a minor in interpersonal communications. She then joined the NALBOH team in January of 2009. In addition to her other duties, Amy also is in charge of the NALBOH website.

Amy and her husband, Larry celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in 2009. They have two busy teenage sons who are involved in many activities, like sports, church, and quiz bowl. Larry and Amy are weekly volunteers with their high school church youth group. When she has free time, Amy enjoys reading, watching football and solving Sudoku puzzles. Additionally, she enjoys many crafts like weaving, knitting, beading and felting.
