Amy Smith

State Relations Coordinator

Amy is the State Relations Coordinator for NALBOH. She grew up in northwest Ohio and worked most recently as a high school librarian while pursuing her bachelor’s degree as a non-traditional student. In December 2008, she received her degree in English, with a minor in interpersonal communications. She then joined the NALBOH team in January of 2009 as Administrative Assistant. In October 2011 she began her Coordinator position and continues to enjoy serving the public health community through NALBOH. In addition to her other duties, Amy also serves as NALBOH webmaster.

Amy and her husband Larry have been married 27 years. They have two busy sons who are involved in many activities like sports, school, music, and church. Larry and Amy are weekly volunteers with their high school church youth group. When she has free time, Amy enjoys reading, watching football, knitting, and weaving.
