Tim Tegge
Director - Member Development & Partnerships
Tim was born and raised in Fairfield, Ohio. He entered Bowling Green State University in 1982 and graduated with a bachelor's degree in biology in 1986. After a brief stint working in the field of horticulture, Tim returned to Bowling Green in the fall of 1987 to assume a sales and marketing position with a local electronics manufacturer. He became actively involved in the community and advanced professionally during the next 11 years. In 1999 Tim became the Director of United Way in Wood County, Ohio where he served until October 2007. During his time at United Way he had the opportunity to work on a community health assessment with NALBOH founder Ned Baker.
In October 2008 Tim was hired as Director of Membership and Affiliate Relations for NALBOH, where he provided leadership to the organization's membership development efforts and works to further enhance the involvement of affiliated state associations of local boards of health (SALBOHs). In October 2011, his job title and duties were expanded to include the cultivation and development of partnerships.
Tim lives in Bowling Green with his wife and daughter, where he remains actively involved in the community. His hobbies include songwriting, gardening and bicycling.
