County Health Rankings & Roadmaps Report Released

NALBOH is excited to share the released report TODAY, March 16th, of the 2016 County Health Rankings & Roadmaps. Be sure to share information about your community!

Please check out http://www.countyhealthrankings.org/ for the latest Rankings data on the health of communities across the country, or how your state ranks in comparison to others.  You can also find important tools and resources in the Roadmaps to Health section of the website that assist community leaders, policy makers, and other leaders in health improvement in making a difference in the many factors that influence health. There will also be workshops at the 2016 Annual Conference - be sure to register today!

The County Health Rankings & Roadmaps program is produced through a collaboration between the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute, housed within the UW-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health.

The County Health Rankings show us that where we live matters to our health.  Good health – longer, healthier lives for everyone – is influenced by many factors beyond medical care and health insurance, such as healthy eating, physical activity, family and community connectedness, and even educational attainment and income.  You can read much more about the Rankings methods, why we pick the measures we do, where we get the data, etc., at http://www.countyhealthrankings.org/
