PHAB Reaccreditation Webinar Moved to Feb. 9

The PHAB webinar on reaccreditation that was scheduled for January 19 has been rescheduled and will instead take place February 9, 2017 at 1 p.m. Eastern Time. The webinar has been rescheduled to provide webinar registrants the opportunity to review the process for reaccreditation and the reaccreditation standards and measures before the webinar.

PHAB will release a special issue of its e-newsletter during the week of January 23 that will provide links to the Guide to National Public Health Department Reaccreditation: Process and Requirements. The soon-to-be-released Guide will include the reaccreditation Standards and Measures. Please watch for the newsletter the week of January 23.

The webinar, titled “An Introduction to PHAB Reaccreditation," will provide an overview of public health department reaccreditation through PHAB. During the webinar, PHAB Chief Program Officer Robin Wilcox will 

  • Explain the overall process and steps for seeking PHAB reaccreditation, 
  • Discuss the standards and measures specific to PHAB reaccreditation and the types of documents that will be required, and
  • Describe the Population Health Outcomes Reporting required for reaccreditation.
