Poll Search
Health Poll Search is a searchable archive of public opinion questions on health
issues that allows users to know what Americans think about health issues, as
well as what Americans have thought about health issues over time. Health Poll
Search is the result of a partnership between the Kaiser Family Foundation and
The Roper Center for Public Opinion Research at the University of Connecticut.
The Roper Center houses an archive of more than 350,000 public opinion questions
dating back to 1935. The
Health Poll Search archive covers 29 topics and more than 300 subtopics, and holds
more than 60,000 questions on health issues from health care surveys that have
included questions on health. These questions provide information on public perceptions
of HIV/AIDS, reproductive health, health policy and health reform, Medicare and
Medicaid, women's health, the uninsured, minority health, and children's health.
Response percentages and source information are provided for all questions.
The
Honeysuckle Foundation for Children with Cancer
The Honeysuckle Foundation for Children with Cancer is an organization dedicated
to improving the quality-of-life for children diagnosed with cancer. It is the
goal of the Foundation to: assist these children and their families by providing
direct financial support for expenses related to cancer treatment; provide resources
as incentives for children undergoing chemotherapy and various medical procedures;
and fund educational programs for school personnel and students to increase
understanding of the disease and encourage social support for the patient both
during treatment and post-treatment.

Breast Cancer Foundation
The Susan G. Komen Foundation's mission is "to eradicate breast cancer

treatment." While the Foundation provides information on grants & funding;
a discussion group, and links to Breast Cancer Info, they also
sponsor Race for the Cure, sell
clothing with the pink ribbon and celebrate survivors of breast cancer and resources

NBCC is a grassroots advocacy organization with the mission to eradicate breast

and screening programs.

This cancer resource sponsored by the University of Pennsylvania provides
information on kinds of cancers, treatments, support, prevention and clinical

Trust for America's Health (TFAH)
TFAH is a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to protect the health
and safety of all communities, especially those most at risk of environmental
and other public health threats. Their goal is to strengthen the nation's public
health system through science-based research, community partnerships, education,
and advocacy. The site contains links to state tracking factsheets, issues &
campaigns, research & resources, and a community health forum.

Cancer Network (WCN)
"WCN, an interactive web site dedicated to informing women around the world
about gynecologic cancer. Our mission is to assist women who have developed
cancer, as well as their families, to understand more about the disease, learn
about treatment options, and gain access to new or experimental therapies. This
