2025 NALBOH Annual Conference Recap

This year's NALBOH Conference brought together public health leaders and board members from across the country for three days of insight, collaboration, and strategic learning. Highlights included the Talking Health communications workshop from the de Beaumont Foundation, keynote addresses from leaders at NACCHO, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, and Trust for America’s Health, and a series of breakout sessions covering board governance, public health law, federal policy, community engagement, and financial sustainability. From foundational public health services to emerging issues like health misinformation and nicotine product regulation, attendees left equipped with practical tools and strategies to strengthen local health governance and improve population health outcomes.
